About the event
Right now, our lawmakers are discussing changes that could dramatically cut Medicaid funding. This isn't just policy talk—it's about real people, including a HUGE number of people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD), who rely on Medicaid not just for insurance, but for their well-being and dignity.
What's Happening?
Join us for an evening where we will discuss how these potential policy changes could affect the disability community. This event is a call to action to stand up, speak out, and grasp the realities at the heart of this issue.
What We’ll Do Together
Understanding the Details: Cut through the complexity as we discuss critical supports like SSI, Medicaid (including DDD funds), SNAP, and HUD vouchers. We’ll strip away the confusion and look closely at what’s being proposed in Washington—what it all truly means for the people you know, the people you help, the people you are.
